Step 1: Outline and highlight the shape of the eye.

Let’s start with the HB pencil to sketch the shape of the eye. This line should not be too dark because you want to prevent it from appearing at the end. We only need the basic shapes to sketch at this point. In Iris, a square is a glare through a window or a similar shape of light. You can also use other shapes, such as rings or ovals.

Step 2: Give the student shade.

Fill students with 6B pencils. Avoid putting pressure on it. Otherwise, it will be difficult to delete it if you need to edit it later. You can go through this area again to get a darker color. Make sure the highlights are clear!

Step 3: Create a shade for Iris

Apply some graphite to a small area on a separate sheet of paper. Use a blender to rub this area until the graphite is transferred to the end of the blender (learn how to use the stamp here). Now you will use it to fill the outer part of the iris. This step has not been completed. Mud will make it better, as for deep eyes.

Step 4: Create an interpreter

Draw the spokes coming out of the iris with a 4B pencil. Overlap some spokes to make thick lines. This will make the eyes more interesting. Don’t let some areas get affected, as they will be filled later.

Step 5: Mix the iris.

Use a tree stump to fill in the white space in the iris. Work carefully around the highlights. Press Dawn hard. When you are done, you can still see the iris line. When most of the lines are finished, you have used the blender with too much power or not put enough pressure on the spokes.

Step 6: Add depth.

Use a 6B pencil to create a shadow under the eyelid for deep and round eyes.

Step 7: Polish the skin.

Deepen wrinkles with a 4B pencil. Use a wipe tool to highlight areas of the eye that need to be highlighted. Examples are the whiteness of the eye, the area of ​​the lower eyelids, the inner corner of the eye near the forehead bone, and the tear duct.

Step 8: Pull the eyebrows and eyelids.

Fill in the eyebrows and eyelids. The lashes should be drawn with curves and not with straight lines. Use a thin HB pencil to draw eyebrows. For lashes, go with a darker color, such as 6B. Go through the drawing and deep areas like pupils, folds, and shadows, and clear the highlights to make you’re drawing a POP!

Step 9: Add tears.

We add an extract on the lower lip of the lower lip; it has a special luster and reflection.

Step 10: Touch-ups

I added some whipping reflections and fine blood fat and darkened the overall shape. Try to use as much shadow as possible while drawing the eyes. Most people are afraid to go in the dark. Look at the picture in step 8 and compare it with the last step. Going into the dark makes a big difference! I also stopped at stage 8 because I was afraid that if my work turned into a complete disaster, I would not delete it. This fear made me unhappy with all my drawings because they lacked depth.
